Discovery Education Streaming

Discovery Education Streaming is a digital video-on-demand service brought to youby Discovery Education. It is the largest and most current K-12 standards-based digital video/video clip library available today. Please contact your school librarian for the sign-up code to create your own account.

EBSCO and AP Photo Archives

Electronically research any topic with magazines, newspapers, reference books, media transcripts and more. Elementary students, select Kids Search. High school students should click on Student Research Center. Full text articles can be printed or emailed.

Britannica School -- TexQuest

Britannica Online School Edition includes encyclopedia resources for elementary, middle and high school students. Click on "Britannica Resources to see Enciclopedia Moderna and Escolar Online, two Spanish language encyclopedias.


FolletShelf is a virtual bookshelf that provides 24/7 access to ebooks and audiobooks on topics for our K-12 students. Access via your computer, or download the Brytewave app to use on your phone or tablet.

Maps 101

Maps101 provides users with a collection of over 4,000 online resources and maps, which are optimized for printing and immediate classroom use. NBC Learn

NBC News offers unique collections of video resources, primary sources, historic footage, images, mini-documentaries and text resources designed for use in the K-12 classroom.

PebbleGo provides early learners a place to grow their reading and research skills. Emergent readers will find articles on Animals, Earth and Space, as well as Social Studies content and biographies.

Pearson EasyBridge

Pearson EasyBridge provides online access to the Pearson textbooks and resources adopted by Aldine ISD.


The content in ScienceFlix has been organized into effective structures called units, with each one aligning to science curriculum standards. All of the articles in each of the 30 units have been written at three levels, so content is now easily accessible to all students.


SIRS Discoverer

Think Central provides online textbook access to the Houghton Mifflin textbooks (grades K-5) adopted by Aldine ISD.

Gale provides a variety of resources via magazines, newspapers, reference books, transcripts, videos and more. Elementary students, select Kids InfoBits or National Geographic Kids.
